Hickory And Beechwood...

Let me bring you words of wisdom, walk the lines of Nature's plan, amid the hickory and beechwood trees, sleep atop the soft green moss... Push away the noise of the city, which crucifies many a youth, and drains away the joy of living, reject the nails of folly... Ten thousand learned or lyrical words, could not express nor explain, the enchantment of lying on a river bank, beneath the hickory and beechwood scents... copyright by Mark Temme (Canticles/1979)
